Saint Lawrence Lodge

Deep in a hemlock forest at the edge of the Canadian Shield, this project is sited at the narrowest point of a long peninsula, affording serene views over the water in both directions.

A rich palette of natural materials and generously proportioned spaces evoke the grandeur of a traditional lodge retreats, resolved in a decidedly contemporary language of concrete, soapstone, and wire-brushed oak.
