Mont Royal

Perched on an idyllic corner site at the top of Outremont, just across the road from the city's famed Mount Royal Cemetery, this project reimagines a mid-century bungalow within a rigorous and boldly contemporary language.

A new addition ties seamlessly in to the existing clay-tile clad roofline, corners are dematerialized with glazing that frame views of the surrounding forest and landscape.

On the interior, spaces flow effortlessly from room to room through carefully considered thresholds, while light floods in through enormous glass sliding doors along the west elevation.
