This project on a quiet street in Toronto’s Annex neighbourhood is a labour of years of collaboration between the architects, the homowners and the many trades and craftspeople who participated in its construction

Conceived as an urban family home inseparably connected to the surrounding landscape and gardens (also conceived and implemented by Suulin), the home utilizes materials that will patina and weather over time, as the surrounding gardens continue to establish.

I had the opportunity to photograph the home on several occasions between the final stages of construction in 2019 through to 2023.
