Marmora Ironworks in Winter

Remnants of the Marmora Ironworks disappearing into the snow, February 2014.

These images were shot on Ilford Delta 3200 film and intentionally use the film’s high grain to blur the distinction between the snow covered land and the grey winter sky.

These images were exhibited as part of Design TO’s ‘White Out’ Exhibition in January 2015, and won a prize for “Best Landscape” in the Darkroom 4.0 exhibit at 918 Bathurst as part of Scotiabank’s CONTACT festival in 2015.
