Holes

These images are portraits of Toronto depicting plots of land that are, for various reasons, unoccupied.

Holes in the urban fabric, these sites speak to the city as an evolving network of development, appropriation, redevelopment, undoing, and neglect.

This set was shot for, and exhibited as part of “Urban Fabric: Portraits of a City”, curated by Deborah Wang, at the Textile Museum of Canada, 2014-2015.
