Work 170 Rose on the Cove Site Works
This project choreographs subtle changes in grade, planting, and landform to extend the raised lawn court of a property in the Hamptons over a newly acquired adjacent plot. The inverse of the raised court appears as a sunken court, each framed by precise edges of weathering steel and stone.
The project was photographed in late summer 2024, the humidity and sea breeze creating a tactile, gauzy quality to the light and a haze that heightens a sense of depth and within the landscape.
