Afterlife

These images depict the remaining materials on site after the demolition of the IBM Canada facilities at 844 Don Mills Road.

Sorted, and processed on the site where they once stood assembled, these piles of scrap metal, wood, and crushed concrete are the last remnants of a sprawling modernist complex by architect Clare MacLean, and John B. Parkin (portions of the Parkin building will remain through the redevelopment process).

This set of images was shot in August 2020.
