St. Clement’s School Addition

Designed as part of a master plan for the growth of the St. Clement’s School in Toronto, this project adds much needed classroom space for the landmark neighbourhood institution. Previous additions had agglomerated over the decades to form a haphazard maze of dark spaces that were reconfigured as part of an extensive renovation and addition project.

Bringing light deep into the floor plate and conceiving corridors as gathering spaces that terminate with light and views out over the surrounding neighbourhood makes the addition a bold yet stately new face for the school.
