Nicol Building, Sprott School of Business, Carleton University

A new home for the Sprott School of Business, the Nicol Building sits at an important nexus on campus, acting as a new landmark for students, and a gateway between transit service along Campus Ave, and the network of tunnels that connects the university underground.

Conceived as a hub for collaboration and interactive learning, the building centres around the Forum, a four-storey atrium space lined with space for individual and group study, collaboration rooms, a business incubator and cafe.

These images were shot in fall 2021 and fall 2022 - capturing a range of formal and informal student life in the building over the course of a few days.
