Wedgewood Park Residence

Conceived as a multigenerational home, this project accommodates the needs of a large extended family within a compact footprint. Without feeling out of place within a neighbourhood of postwar bungalows, the home makes an unequivocally contemporary stand for family living in the city.

Photographed in the summer of 2022, much of our energy was spent studying the dramatically sloped zinc-clad roof which frames space both interior and exterior, providing shade and enclosure, while at other times soaring overhead to create a sense of ethereal loftiness.

The project has been featured by Designlines (April 2024).
