Corktown Commons Pavilion
The pavilion at Corktown Commons sits at the heart of a new park in the city’s downtown east side. Part of a major redevelopment project, the park serves a dual purpose of directing stormwater during summer storms away from the built areas, and providing much needed outdoor park space for the neighbourhood’s residents.
A series of new paths lead through wetlands and across rolling hills up to the high point where the pavilion sits, housing public washroom facilities and a small cafe open seasonally.
This project was shot in summer 2015.
