Nipissing University Student Centre

The new student centre for Nipissing University embodies the ideals and materials of the Northern landscape – forming a courtyard ‘quad’ in which two sides are bounded by architecture and two sides by the boreal forest.

The building was photographed in spring 2021 despite pandemic-restrictions.

Thanks to a handful of eager student models, we strove to make the building appear occupied with no more than 5 students present at a time, and photoshop-compositing in order to maintain social distancing.
