Mount Dennis Child and Family Centre - Native Child and Family Services of Toronto

The NCFS’s Mount Dennis Child Care and Family Centre serves a critical role within the neighbourhood, both for indigenous and non-indigenous community members.

The gardens and landscape around the centre are used as playground space for children, and as a teaching garden for educational and outreach events; the garden includes a medicine garden, large limestone slabs, and encourages users to connect with the natural world around them.

The project is the result of extensive consultation with the community, and was opened in 2021.
